(Day 688) Swords of Iron – “No Greater Love”

Chaim starts out by saying that it’s very painful to see IDF soldiers killed in action. He’s filming from the site of a small memorial that have been built to these soldiers, to add the name of Lt. Ori Gerlic, 20, a platoon commander in the Kfir Brigade who was killed by an accidental premature explosion of a charge that had been set to demolish a Hamas position in Khan Yunis over the weekend.

Chaim talks about serving with Ori’s father, who also knew many of the soldiers who were killed in a helicopter crash that occurred many years ago. Chaim says it’s very difficult, but these kinds of accidents happen, and young Israelis have their light’s extinguished far to early, but their friends will comfort their families and the People of Israel WILL live on (Am Yisrael Chai!)

He concludes by asking his viewers to continue praying for Israel because there are more battles left to fight and more sacrifices that will need to be made.
