(Day 698) Swords of Iron – “Times Up H*mas”

Chaim starts out by talking about the threat to Israel of ballistic missiles fired by the Houthis in Yemen. He then moves on to talk about the terrorist who kidnapped Emily Damari and her friends, Ziv and Gali Berman, who was recently eliminated by the IDF in Gaza. He also talke about the necessity of continuing to hit Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, otherwise they’ll regroup, rearm and threaten northern Israel once again.

Meanwhile, Chaim says that the government and the political echelon is expressing full support to the soldiers who are working to safeguard the nation. This includes, Chaim notes, a contingent of religiously observant soldiers who showed up to their reserve unit after sending their children to school. And Chaim says that the fact that Israeli children are in school, including in communities near the borders with Gaza and Lebanon, is a sign of Israel’s resilience and courage.

Chaim says that if the Israeli adults don’t protect those children, then we won’t be good parents.

In the midst of all this, US President Donald Trump said this week that Israel is losing the public relations battle and Chaim says he can’t disagree with that, but this is why he makes the videos and tells his viewers what he sees on the ground, day in and day out. He’s glad that President Trump is standing strongly for Israel in this battle because much of the rest of the world is turning against Israel, and anti-Semitism is rising to historically bad levels.

However, he knows that despite the rising darkness, good shall prevail, and in this context, he concludes by quoting 1 Samuel 2:9-10; He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; From heaven He will thunder against them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed.”
