(Day 718) Swords of Iron – “Recognizing Mistake”

Chaim starts by saying that at this time, Jewish people in Israel are blowing the Shofar in a time of war. We are believing for the release of the hostages and for ultimate victory in this war. We also want to bring home the remains of those who have died in captivity, so that they can receive a dignified funeral.

Speaking of funerals, Chaim mentions the memorial for Charlie Kirk, and he speaks admiringly about Erika Kirk’s remarks at the service.

He says that we must work tirelessly to bring our own dead and living hostages home, but we can’t give in to terror.

Meanwhile, Chaim mentions how Britain, Canada and Australia have now recognized a Palestinian State, along with other Western countries. Chaim says this is a mistake, and it’s also a betrayal because these countries have all set conditions for recognition of a Palestinian State in the past, and they tossed all that out the window under the pressure of jihadist groups in their own countries. They are surrendering to terrorism, and it won’t even do them any good in the end.

This is because people won’t change because of outside pressures, one way or the other. People only change when they make a decision to change, and the Palestinians, whether it’s Hamas or the Palestinian Authority, have never made the decision to change.

Chaim says that Israel therefore has no choice but to move forward with the project of completely destroying Hamas, releasing the hostages and removing the jihadist threat. Chaim concludes by asking his viewers to pray for the protection of the soldiers and the hostages and for Israel to get the complete victory in this conflict, which it needs and has sacrificed so much for.
