(Day 720) Swords of Iron – “Disarmed/Dismantled”

Chaim starts by saying its unbelievable that the Houthis in Yemen launch drones that fly thousands of kilometers to hit a civilian shopping center in Eilat. This is a war crime, and the Houthis won’t get away with it. Prime Minister Netanyahu, as he was on his way to New York to address the UNGA meeting, ordered a massive strike on the Houthis.

Meanwhile, the IDF has taken some casualties in the ongoing campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and Chaim says this is painful, but it’s the price that must be paid for victory. It will not solve any problems to end this war, leaving Hamas in power in Gaza. Chaum reiterates that Hamas must be disarmed and dismantled, and their hold over Gaza broken.

To that end, Gaza City is being evacuated and the IDF is doing everything it can to encourage the civilian residents of the city to distance themselves from Hamas so the IDF can hit Hamas and get this war over with.

In the meantime, Chaim urges his viewers to not be afraid, but to double down in prayer and in practical action to achieve the full victory. In this context, he quotes Proverbs 28:1; The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.

He concludes by comparing Israel’s current situation to the situation when the Children of Israel were being chased by Pharoah’s army and they had the Red Sea blocking any escape route. God provided an escape route supernaturally on that occasion, and Chaim says he believes something similar is about to happen.
