Chaim starts by saying Israel is the most misunderstood country in the world. So he says that he wants to tell his viewers 10 things they MUST KNOW about Israel.

First, Israel is small, about the size of the US State of New Jersey.

Second, despite being so small, it’s at the center of world history. Many global powers tried to control this country over the centuries because it is a strategic crossroads between continents, cultures, ideas and economies.

Third, it is a home of innovation. Despite all its challenges and problems, it is constantly inventing new things to help solve the world’s many problems.

Fourth, it is a land of many cultures. Despite the accusations that Israel is a “Jewish ethnostate” this country is multicultural and multilingual.

Fifth, Israel is a refuge for survivors. It was born in part to be a place where the Jews of Europe, who had survived the Holocaust, could flee and be safe. It continues to be a refuge for Jewish people fleeing persecution.

Sixth, it is the only democracy in the Middle East. In a region dominated by dictatorships and violence, this country shines as a beacon of freedom.

Seventh, Israel is always under threat. But despite that, Israelis choose hope over fear, building lives and families and never giving up.

Eighth, Israel is a land of stunning beauty with diverse landscapes, all packed into a small land mass. There are mountains, deserts, lakes, streams and rivers, as well as beautiful cities and adorable small villages.

Ninth, Israel is a hub of humanitarian aid. It is a tiny county but always among the first to send help whenever a natural disaster strikes.
