(Day 735) Swords of Iron – “The plan: Unpacked”

The video is composed of a 3-D animated narrative of the conflict, demonstrating some of the finer points of the plan whose execution is currently underway to return the hostages to Israel and end the fighting. This will include the IDF pulling back in staged redeployments and releasing Palestinian security prisoners in exchange for the living hostages and the remains of hostages who were murdered in captivity.

At the same time, Hamas has already begun to reconstitute its military and weapons manufacturing infrastructure, so the plan to turn Gaza into a de-militerized territory governed by a politically nuetral group of technocrats is very unlikely to have long-term viability.

The video also gets into the origins of the current round of conflict, focusing on the Hamas attack of October 7th, 2023, followed by Hezbollah in Lebanon joining into the conflict.
