(Day 737) Swords of Iron – “2 years later they are Coming Home!”
Chaim starts by rhetorically asking his viewers if they are “excited” about the imminent return of Israel’s hostages from the dungeons of terror in Gaza. He’s also excited about the imminent arrival of US President Donald Trump.
However, he acknowledges that Hamas is trying to regroup, deploying 7,000 fighters to the streets of Gaza to crack down on dissent and wipe out all their rivals. Chaim says that the damage they did to Israel was great, and the damage they continue to do to the Palestinian people is also great, and it doesn’t look like they’re planning to disarm.
But Chaim also wants to talk about the document that was found in Gaza dated August iof 2022, over a year before the October 7th attacks, in which he gave an extensive description of the psychological terror he was planning to inflict on Israel, using religious texts and quotes to justify it. But what’s most galling of all is that this man, Yahya Sinwar, was alive in August of 2022 because Israel saved his life. He was dying, and Israeli doctors performed surgery on him to save his life, a few years before he was released from Israeli prisons as part of the Gilad Schalit deal. Chaim says we don’t want to see a repeat of this situation, so he and the rest of the IDF, possibly with assistance from other countries, are going to continue demolishing the Hamas terror tunnels underneath Gaza. This has been confirmed by Israel’s political and military leadership.
Chaim says that as a dual English and Hebrew speaker, he’s very excited to look forward to working together with American forces to dismantle the Hamas tunnel network.
Speaking of the Americans, Chaim is also excited that US President Donald Trump is leading a regional effort to bring peace and reconstruction to the Gaza Strip and Israel. He says that it’s amazing to see how quiet all the people who have been screaming for most of the past two years about the need for a ceasefire have now become. The ceasefire leaves no question that Israel won this war, and that’s the opposite of what all these people wanted.
Chaim says that this is a clear indication of the level of infiltration by Hamas and its fellow travellers into the West. Chaim says that from the beginning, it was obvious that this was a key part of the Hamas plan for victory in this war, to use Western sympathizers against Israel and also to try and stir up Arab and Muslim majority countries to come against Israel. But that didn’t work, and Israel has, against all of the fondest hopes Hamas had, come out on top.
Now, Chaim says, Israel is beginning a process of healing and the entire Middle East is beginning a process of rebuilding and rejecting jihadist violence.
Chaim says he is honored to have been part of the military effort to win this war, and he concludes by quoting Deuteronomy 31:6; “Be strong and have strength of heart. Do not be afraid or shake with fear because of them. For the Lord your God is the One Who goes with you. He will be faithful to you. He will not leave you alone.”
