(Day 752) Swords of Iron – “Massive strikes in Gaza Now”

Chaim starts by talking about how there are still many IDF reservists in uniform, and although there is a ceasefire, the war is not “over” in the real sense of that word. There is a crackling tension in the air that let’s everyone know this is not the end of the story.

It’s very good (and very important) that Hamas has released most of the remains of hostages who were murdered in captivity so their families can give them a dignified burial, but that is not enough.

Hamas is also violating the terms of the ceasefire on other ways, including by opening fire on IDF troops in Rafah and probing the Yellow Line to see what they can get away with.

There is a lot of other nonsense and shenanigans that Hamas is trying to carry out and Chaim says the IDF must do its part to stay vigilant until the job is truly done.

At the same time, Hezbollah is rearming and reorganizing in Lebanon, getting ready for another round of fighting with Israel, even though they should have learned a lesson from the stomping they received in September and October of last year.

In this context, Chaim quotes Isaiah 41:10-11; Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ “Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced;
They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.
