(Day 778) Swords of Iron – “Surgical strike on Hezbollah Leader in Beirut”

Chaim starts by saying that Hamas is endangering the civilians of Gaza by pointlessly prolonging this conflict with Israel, which they’ve already lost. Chaim adds that one by one, the Hamas leaders continue to be taken out, and they don’t like it.

Meanwhile, the big news is that Hezbollah’s second in command,  Haytham Ali Tabtabai, has been assassinated by a precision IDF strike on his “safe house” in Beirut. He was leading an effort to rearm, reorganize and prepare for another conflict with Israel. Chaim says that these terrorists need to learn that this is a waste of time, that they need to choose a different path.

At the same time, Israeli officials have condemned the ongoing anti-Semitic attacks against Jewish citizens and residents of the United States. US officials, especially newly elected New York Mayor Zorhan Mamdani, aren’t trying very hard to push back against this phenomenon, and this is a problem that has many people concerned.

Meanwhile, the US is preparing to build a military base near the Gaza border to ensure that the ceasefire plan comes to fruition. Chaim says he’s glad to see this and he concludes by quoting Psalms 3:3; But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.
