(Day 796) Swords of Iron – “Sanctions strategies and the supernatural”
Chaim starts by telling his viewers that it is raining hard in Israel, and we like that in Israel where we need every drop of rain. But there is a downside as a fair amount of property damage occurred, with many low lying areas flooded, cars and buildings damaged, as well as roads and other infrastructure.
Chaim says that can all be managed, as long as it doesn’t rain jihadist missiles and rockets, and indeed, there is a flood of good things coming that will push back the darkness in the Middle East.
In the meantime, the heavy rains and winds are destroying some of the Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip that was left over from the war, including buildings and tunnels.
Chaim also mentions the recent speeches of Turkish President Reccep Tayyip Erdogan which are very threatening towards Israel. Chaim asks why some leaders are so eager to challenge the God of the Bible. At the same time, however, the US is considering to levy sanctions on the UNRWA organization because of that organization’s cooperation with and support of Hamas.
However, there was also some bad news from the US this week, as the Congress is expected to pass legislation soon lifting sanctions on Syria, despite all the human rights abuses and ties to terrorism that continue to be an issue with the new regime which is ruling Damascus.
Chaim says that apparently, the Americans are hoping that these jihadists, led by Interim President Aby Muhammed Al-Jolani, will change their ways if they get some sanctions relief.
Chaim says he doesn’t know for sure what’s coming next in Syria, but that border needs to be watched very carefully. In this context, he quotes Psalms 115:11; You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.
