(Day 804) Swords of Iron – “More Terror Plots Foiled”
Chaim starts by rhetorically asking if his viewers are among those who can see the half-fullness of a glass, and then he mentions that after 804 days, he’s still in uniform trying to win this war and bring security back to Israel. But there’s more going on than war, and Israel just signed a massive $35 billion natural gas export deal with Egypt.
Chaim says this is just one of many examples of Arab nations surrounding Israel seeing it more as an asset then a problem. He says that he expects this trend to continue,
Next he talks about how the World Food Organization now says there is no famine in Gaza, and Chaim says there never was. He personally saw hundreds of trucks a day loaded with food going into Gaza, and he’s disgusted at all the lies and deceit
He also talks about the plots Hezbollah hatched to try and surprise Israel and hit us hard with terror attacks from the sea. The IDF took prisoners from Hezbollah and interrogated them, learning of these plots and breaking them up. The project, which started in 2016, was designed to turn civilian shipping vessels into weapons of mass destruction, similar to what Al Qaeda did with civilian passenger planes on 9/11.
Chaim compares this plot to a follow up attack on Bondi beach which was planned by some jihadist terrorists in Australia this past week, but their plan was broken up by the Australian police. Chaim says that all of these jihadist groups share the same ideology and the same ultimate goal, but we’re going to put a stop to it just like the Maccabbees put a stop to the threats they faced in their time.
In this context, Chaim concludes by quoting Isaiah 49:6; Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
