(Day 854) Swords of Iron – “Negotiations”

So in these latest negotiations, Iran claims they’re willing to give up on their renegade nuclear missile program aimed at destroying America, Israel, and the West. I’m so glad, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Except they’re not actually willing to give up any part of their plans for apocalyptic nuclear capabilities.

So I’m being either quite naive or more probably just a bit facetious.

For sure they cannot be believed, whatever they may say or “agree to”.

Just recently, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at us, and while we intercepted most of them, 28 people were still killed. If they launch their full current arsenal—right now about 2,000 missiles, in a few years will be more like 10,000—our interceptors couldn’t stop them. They know exactly where to strike.

Meanwhile, USA’s CENTCOM is negotiating with them, but Iran refuses to back down. We can’t trust them not to strike us.

As US Vice President Vance said, “Don’t give crazy people nukes.” It’s a dangerous game.

Despite this, Israel is thriving in many areas. Our high-tech sector is booming, with $14 billion in investment—more than all of Europe combined. For a country the size of New Jersey or Wales, this is remarkable. Foreign exchange reserves hit $230 billion, surpassing France and the UK, strengthening the shekel. Natural gas is keeping our energy prices low, and Israel’s future looks promising.

However, the threat from Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal remains a priority.

IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir says it’s crucial: “We can’t let them keep their missiles.”

Iran is ramping up production, potentially reaching 10,000 missiles in just a few years. They’ve adapted their strategies, learned from past offensives and have developed more advanced weaponry such as cluster munitions, drones and cruise missiles.

Don’t keep your head in the sand.

Israel may be the outpost of democracy, but Iran isn’t just targeting us—they’re coming for all free nations, including America. This is an existential crisis no one can afford to overlook. If Iran chooses to confront the U.S., Israel is prepared to strike back on their high impact targets as well.

The focus right now is on the ballistic missile threat, not just nuclear weapons.

As Shabbat is upon us, let’s remember we’re strong, like the lion of Judah and like the Persian lion on the true flag of the people of Iran, with whom we stand in their fight for freedom.

Micah 5:7 says, “The remnant of Judah will be among many peoples like a lion among the beasts of the forest.”

The lion roars, and will not be silent.
