(Day 863) Swords of Iron – “Internal-External pressures”

We are definitely in the Middle East; intense dust storms covered the region in recent days—it’s just wild. But what’s even more concerning is that Hamas continues to blatantly violate the ceasefire. The yellow line means nothing to them, nor does northern Gaza. Armed terrorists emerged from underground infrastructure, attempting to pose an imminent threat to our troops. Thankfully, our guys were able to neutralize them and eliminate the threat. We can’t move forward with any plans for rebuilding—like gas development—until they disarm and withdraw.

These are tense times, requiring vigilance and strength. An incident occured just recently in the ultra-religious city of Bnei Brak, two female soldiers from the IDF’s Education Corps went there for a welfare visit, not to investigate draft violations. But they were chased by a mob that overturned trash cans and even a police car. A helicopter was deployed, and 12 rioters were arrested. The police commissioner said the situation was brought under control, but the Prime Minister emphasized that violence against military or police personnel will not be tolerated. The Defense Minister called on Orthodox leaders to condemn this violence, and we know tensions are high between those who serve in the army and those who refuse, particularly within the religious community.

Meanwhile, in Iran, the blackout is still ongoing, yet reports of explosions and fires are emerging. Claims suggest nearly 90,000 people have died during this chaotic period. Iran’s regime has committed unspeakable atrocities against its own people, yet where is the global outrage? Where are the feminists? While there’s been silence until now, protests are gaining momentum worldwide, particularly in the US, with people calling for the removal of the IRGC and an end to their terror.

The US Central Command has launched 10 strikes against 30 ISIS terrorists in Syria, vowing to stop the flow of weapons and terrorists. These operations are precision strikes using fixed-wing aircraft to eliminate jihadists. It’s what needs to be done.

Trump and Netanyahu met at the White House and agreed to ramp up economic pressure on Iran. While nothing concrete was finalized, they pledged to intensify measures against the regime. They have about two and a half weeks to make a decisive move, then that’s it, game time.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us, “Be strong and courageous.”
