Update (Day 866) Swords of Iron – “Another Hero Fell In Battle”

The United States reports that war with Iran may begin very soon. Everyone is on edge. You can see the buildup of military presence in the Middle East, and people are asking, “What is this?” I’m telling you, it’s a clash of kingdoms—a clash of cultures—the free world against the jihadist world.

Meanwhile, Israel is helping the world. There was a helicopter evacuation of three Arab children who were playing with unexploded ordnance in the Jordan Valley. We need to ensure that these unexploded devices are cleared.

At the same time, as Ramadan begins and visiting hours to the Temple Mount are discussed, there are calls to increase Jewish presence for prayer during this time. Some say they should not be allowed to pray at all, but it’s time to recognize that we must care for what we’ve been entrusted with by God in the Bible.

It pains my heart every time a soldier in Gaza pays the ultimate price for freedom. Staff Sergeant Ofri Yafeh, age 21, from a paratrooper reconnaissance unit, was killed in action in the southern Gaza Strip. He is the 925th Israeli soldier killed in this war. So many have given their lives. I’ve been rescued from moments when mortars or bullets came near me—I was just out of harm’s way. It was amazing. Check out my book Aliyah Warrior, which will be released soon.

There have also been 25,000 children around the world who have been victims of hostile, anti-Semitic actions since October 7. Anti-Semitism—this mental disease—has surged. People must decide to stand on the right side of history. Even in places you would never expect, there have been attacks on Jewish people—in Thailand just this week and previously at Bondi Beach, Australia. Three Israelis in Thailand were attacked with chants of “Itbah al-Yahud” – “Massacre the Jews”. They suffered broken ribs and teeth.

If you see a Jewish person, please encourage them during this time.

People ask me, “What is going on with Iran?” My perspective is that Israel is at the highest level of readiness. We are ready. These are challenging times. People are prepping bomb shelters, preparing to stay in them for a month, maybe more, maybe less. Authorities are issuing precautionary measures.

The Geneva talks between the United States and Iran are not progressing well. Some say they could succeed, yet at the same time Iran is deploying E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft, and they have partially blocked the Strait of Hormuz with “naval exercises”. Much of the world’s shipping passes through there, especially oil. If it is blocked, that is an attack on the free world.

Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are in talks with Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi. Vice President JD Vance has said everything is on the table, including a direct kinetic strike on Iran’s nuclear program.

Proverbs 11:21 and I Samuel 2:9 say that the righteous will prevail and the wicked will fail. As we face this very difficult time, pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
