ARC Israel Updates

Chaim starts with a broad update on the situation in Israel, including the visit by President Biden. He then says that “heroes are rising” all over the country. Some of them are in the security teams and armed forces and they’re heroically battling the forces of terrorism. But many are also doing ordinary things like distributing food to internally displaced refugees and finding needed ancillary equipment for soldiers like body armor and sleeping bags.

He also reminds his viewers that everyone has a voice and can use it in this battle. That means sharing the truth on social and legacy media but most of all it means raising our voices in prayer. He quotes James 5:16b which says; “A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.”

He also reminds us of the battle that was fought in the supernatural realm when Daniel was praying for three straight weeks, as recorded in chapter 10 of the Book of Daniel.

He then asks his viewers to read Psalms 20 with him;

May the Lord answer you on a day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May He send you help from the sanctuary, and support you from Zion! May He remember all your meal offerings and accept your burnt offering! Selah

May He grant you your heart’s desire and fulfil your whole plan! We will sing for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfil all your desires.

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some praise their chariots and some their horses, but we will praise the name of the Lord, our God. They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. Save, Lord; May the King answer us on the day we call.

He exhorts his viewers to see themselves as part of the “air force” which is directly supporting him and his comrades who are on the ground at the kinetic war front. He urges his followers to join with the many organizations who are praying into the situation in Israel and ask the Lord to remind the Israelis as well as their physical enemies who they are and what their God-given identity is.

He also urges them to get an update about the situation “from the front” to their fellow prayer warriors. He says that this will serve to tear down the wall of separation between Israel and the Nations. He asks his viewers to say with him “Israel needs me” and “now is the time, I will stand in prayer, I will stand in the gap.”

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.

(Day 730) Swords of Iron – “Two Years”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s been a great privilege for him to be mobilized in his IDF reserve unit, to serve with the elite Yahalom Combat Engineers for Special Missions, demolishing Hamas tunnels and doing various other specialized tasks that the regular units aren’t trained to do. He is also the CEO of the Aliyah Return Center and the Faithful Galileans, two non-profits that work to help new immigrants to Israel as well as fight the information battles.

(Day 729) Swords of Iron – “Permanent Ceasefire?!”

Chaim says that he’s glad that President Trump put pressure on Hamas and they gave a sort of “half yes” to the plan he put forward to end this war, including the return of the hostages. This gives hope that this war is almost over, but Chaim says the Israeli leadership is being very cautious, ordering the IDF to stay on high alert against the possibility that there will be any more terror attacks or other problems.
