ARC Israel Updates

Day 152

Chaim starts the video by saying that the nation of Israel is grappling with many things, including the loss of loved ones, PTSD from all the violence and terrorism that have has been perpetrated against them. Chaim describes some of the recent events which have added to the trauma, including an incident when three soldiers were killed and several others wounded in a booby-trapped house. Chaim also mentions the barrages of rockets that have been fired into Israel from Lebanon.

Chaim says that people suffering from PTSD are often encouraged to “engage with something” rather than just stew in their problems and traumatic memories. He also quotes Isaiah 40:1; “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God”

Chaim mentions the warnings from the US State Department to avoid many places in Israel, and he says that one can’t live in fear.

Chaim then mentions the enormous increase in anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence and rhetoric all over the world, including in many university campuses. Chaim says that it’s difficult for Jews and Israelis to explain that they’re fighting for their families and for the entire free world. The lies and false narratives are very strong and widely accepted as truth.

But this is also pushing many Jewish people to want to make aliyah to Israel.

But it’s scary because the jihad against Israel is not just on the street level, it has has even penetrated into the highest levels of the government in many countries, including the US.

Chaim concludes by urging his viewers to stand up for the God of Israel and the people of Israel and for what’s right and true in these times.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
