Day 162

Chaim starts the video by wishing his viewers “shabbat shalom” and then dives in to what’s going on in the Biblical calendar and what’s going on in the present day.

He tells the story, briefly, of the scene from the Book of Esther, where Haman “casts lots” and in so doing, seeks guidance from the spiritual realm, about what the best day would be to try and kill all the Jews in the Persian Empire.

This is, as Chaim says, a “diabolical plot” very similar to what Hamas is doing in this present time.

But just as in that first Purim that is described in the Book of Esther, God raises up a hero “for such a time as this” to deliver His people from their enemies, and they ARE delivered and they DO survive the attempt to annihilate them.

Then Chaim transitions to talking about the stories of Ezra and Nehemiah, leading the return of the exiles from Babylon, despite the plots of Tobiah and Sandalat, enemies of the Jews in the court of the king. Ezra is in a position where he has the ear of the kind, and he was used by God to move forward the prophetic plans and purposes for the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.

Chaim says he sees himself as a type of Nehemiah, being used by God to restore the nation of Israel, to bring home the exiles and build up Zion to prepare it for the return of the King of Kings. The Bible says that through Israel ALL the peoples of the earth will be blessed.

Chaim challenges his viewers, telling them that God wants to use them right now, wherever they are, to help push forward His plans and purposes for Israel. He asks them to start by sharing the video and helping him to spread the word about the Aliyah Return Center.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
