ARC Israel Updates

Day 179

Chaim starts by declaring that these are very “wild” times to be living through. He says that almost every day something of global and/or Biblical proportions happens and the whole world is “reeling” just trying to keep up with the latest developments.

At the same time, Israelis are in mourning over the large numbers of soldiers and civilians killed in this conflict. We’re also in shock, trying to keep up with what Chaim says is “like a page-turner novel” which we’re living in.

He then talks about the strike in Damascus which killed a senior Iranian IRGC General and several other terrorist leaders. Iran and Hezbollah have declared their intention to seek revenge for this attack, and Israel is bracing for attacks not only on the country but possibly on embassies around the world as well.

Iran says that the buidling struck was a part of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, but it was actually a headquarters building for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

There were already drone attacks launched towards Israel by Iranian-backed terrorist organizations from Syria, Lebanon and even Iraq and Yemen.

Chaim says that many people in Israel are feeling like we’re in a very dark place right now, but he reminds his viewers that sometimes when you feel like you’re in a dark place, it just means you’re a seed which has been buried.

He quotes Isaiah 40:1-2; “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”

He also reminds his viewers that Israel is “the seed of hope” for the entire human race and right now we’re going through a metemorphosis which will bring us into the next step in our prophetic purpose as part of God’s plan for the redemption of His entire creation.

So Chaim urges his viewers to remain strong and courageous and remember that the Lord is with us, He will not fair us for forsake us, as Deuteronomy 31:6 says.

Next the scene shifts to protests against Israel happening in cities all over the world, and Chaim says it’s heartbreaking to see so much confusion about what Israel stands for. He says he hopes people will wake up to realize that Israel stands for democracy and is standing against tyranny and darkness.

The video concludes with Aliyah Return Center leaders talking about the upcoming Passover holiday and what the ARC will be doing to prepare for and celebrate it.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
