ARC Israel Updates

Chaim starts by saying he wants to take a moment to “take a breath” and remember all the sons and daughters of Abraham who have fallen in battle and been murdered by terrorists.

He quotes 1 Samuel 25:29; Yet a man has risen to pursue you and seek your life, but the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with the Lord your God; and the lives of your enemies He shall sling out, as from the pocket of a sling.

He reminds his viewers that his name “Chaim” means “life” and he says that there are many in Israel who are sitting “shiva” or in mourning, right now for their loved ones who have been killed. He repeats the mourners prayer, which is in Aramaic (the language spoken by Jesus and His disciples) and he translates part of it into English for his viewers.

Throughout the world which He has created according to His will. May He establish His kingdom bring forth His redemption and hasten the coming of His Moshiach.

In your lifetime and during your days, and within the life of the entire House of Israel, speedily and soon;and say, Amen.

May His great name be blessed forever and to all eternity. Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, adored and lauded be the name of the Holy One.

Blessed be He, beyond all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations that

are ever spoken in the world; and say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life, for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

He Who makes peace (Between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur substitute: “the peace”) in His heavens, may He make peace for us and for all Israel; and say, Amen.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
