Update (Day 936) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “Jews Attacked in UK”
It’s devastating—heartbreaking—to see visibly Jewish people stabbed outside a synagogue in Golders Green, UK. The attacker was eventually arrested, but it took too long. It could have been far worse. I was moved seeing Israelis shouting in Hebrew, telling people to run and get out of danger—people stepping in to save lives.
But is this where we are? The UK prime minister called it an attack on all Britain, but statements alone won’t stop this. Israel’s prime minister says words are not enough—and he’s right. If you permit antisemitism, it grows like a virus. It must be confronted with action.
At the global level, pressure continues on Iran—the “head of the octopus.” Reports suggest internal strain, but negotiations are stalled. A recent proposal was rejected outright by Trump, who insists: no deal without addressing the nuclear issue. Until then, pressure remains. Iran wants relief, especially around key economic routes, but the stance is firm—no compromise without real accountability.
Meanwhile, Hamas is still trying to regroup in Gaza—recruiting, reorganizing leadership, and holding onto weapons. That’s unacceptable. Disarmament and dismantling are the only options.
On the ground, innovation is making a difference. Systems like the SMASH fire-control technology—a “smart-shooter” mounted on standard rifles—are enabling soldiers to take down fast-moving drones with precision. It’s a game-changer against the growing drone threat.
Security operations continue across Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria—preventing terror infrastructure from taking root. Constant vigilance is the reality.
At the same time, leadership matters. Prime Minister Netanyahu recently condemned public misconduct by an IDF soldier, making it clear: that behavior is not who we are. He also hosted Christian IDF soldiers, honoring their service and highlighting something often ignored—Israel is a place where Christians not only live freely but thrive. In a region where Christians face persecution, Israel stands out as a defender of their faith.
He spoke about their dedication, sacrifice, and contribution—and it matters. It reflects a broader truth: Israel defends not just itself, but the values of freedom and faith in the region.
So yes—this is a difficult moment. But it’s also a moment of clarity. Stand against evil. Stand for what’s right.
As Proverbs 15:29 says: “The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.”
