Update (Day 942) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “Dire Straits”

It is critical alert time. Israel’s military and civilian emergency alert level has been raised to the maximum because of Iran’s escalation in the Gulf. Ben Gurion Airport is not closed, but there is talk of possible closures, plane evacuations, and embassies preparing for emergency scenarios. Nothing has fully shifted yet—but things can change fast.

So far, four missiles were launched from Iran toward the United Arab Emirates. Three were intercepted—with Israel helping stop them—and one fell into the sea. That alone is serious enough.

What’s interesting is that several Arab states had promised support if the UAE was attacked, yet none stepped in. Israel did. Even people who once criticized Israel and Netanyahu are now saying Israel proved it stands by its allies. Countries are making choices, and people are seeing who truly acts when danger comes.

Let’s be clear: we love the people of Iran. But the IRGC and the Iranian leadership are not okay. Terror is not okay. Iran’s foreign minister warns the U.S. not to get pulled into a regional “quagmire”—but Iran is the quagmire. Iran is the quicksand. Iran started this escalation by firing on the UAE.

Defense officials are warning that the situation could deteriorate quickly. Within hours, missiles could again be aimed at Israel. There is no concrete intelligence right now saying that will definitely happen, but Hezbollah, Hamas, and every Iranian proxy are watching closely to see what Iran chooses next.

Trump has made it clear: if Iran interferes with Operation Project Freedom—the U.S. effort to escort vessels safely through the Strait of Hormuz—they will face overwhelming consequences. Don’t test freedom. Don’t test the free world.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s infrastructure continues to be dismantled. The 226th Brigade, together with Yahalom, has been working to destroy another underground Hezbollah tunnel—30 meters long—along with weapons storage facilities, staging areas, Claymore mines, RPGs, anti-tank rounds, and Kornet missiles.

Every tunnel destroyed, every weapons cache removed, is one less threat to our people on the northern border—and one less weapon that can ever be used against Israel.

This is what must continue: pressure on terror everywhere, until threats are dismantled and security returns fully to our borders.

And remember 2 Kings 7:6. When Aram (Syria) besieged Samaria, the Lord caused the enemy army to hear the sound of chariots, horses, and a great army. They panicked and fled, leaving behind food and supplies for the very people they had tried to starve.

Again and again, the lesson is clear: don’t mess with Israel.
