Update (Day 946) Swords of Iron “Critical Mass”

It’s good to be back in the Galilee that I love—to take off the uniform for a moment and spend time with family. But even while we rest, our heroes in the sky and on the ground continue defending our borders.

Israel just struck 85 Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon—rocket launchers and infrastructure meant to fire deadly shrapnel toward our homes, our families, and our communities. Thank God those threats are being removed before they can hit us.

At the same time, it’s deeply concerning to see Iran’s strike near Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

What are they trying to do—escalate the whole region again? Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command is disabling Iranian tankers in the Gulf of Oman. Videos show fire rising from tankers trying to push through the American maritime blockade. At least two oil tankers were disabled, and reports indicate a third was also stopped.

The message is clear: America is saying no. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets launched from the USS George H.W. Bush and struck those vessels. Iran talks big, but they are badly outgunned. They do not want to mess with America.

We are reaching a tipping point. If the Strait of Hormuz is not fully reopened soon, and if Iran refuses a serious deal, this could slide right back into full escalation. Residents in Hormozgan province are already hearing explosions near Bandar Abbas, and Iranian media is reporting renewed military activity near Kharg Island. There are also reports of a major oil spill.

Trump has made it plain: sign the deal, or bear the responsibility.

At the same time, he announced a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine beginning May 9, calling it a major step toward ending that war. It coincides with Victory Day, when we remember the defeat of Nazi evil and honor the heroes of World War II. Tomorrow, we’ll have the privilege of meeting and honoring some of those heroes.

The hope is that this ceasefire will lead to a broader suspension of combat—missiles stopping, prisoners exchanged, and one of the deadliest wars since World War II finally coming to an end.

Friends, we are living in hard times. But hard times make strong people. Strong people make good times. That cycle is real.

These are hard days, but they are producing strength, courage, and clarity. We must continue standing for light, freedom, and truth.

Ezekiel 25 says that God will judge and bring vengeance against those who rise against His people, “and they will know that I am the Lord.”

That is the fate of those who stand against Israel—and against the righteous who stand with freedom, whether here or in America.
