Day 328 Swords of Iron – “Live In the cleft of the rock”

Chaim starts the video by showing the viewers a hive of honeybees in the side of a hill that he’s at near the Gaza border. He says that he likes how the bees know where their home is, and he compares this to the way the Jewish people also know where their home is. He says that it’s difficult sometimes to be in the cleft of the rock where God put you, but that’s the best place to be, because it’s the center of God’s will for your life.

The next few minutes of the video show the conditions in Gaza, where many live in poverty but the Hamas leadership lives in luxury because they steal all the money and aid sent to Gaza to help the ordinary people.

Chaim says that Israel must continue to push in and destroy the last remnents of the Hamas military machine in the Gaza Strip, not only for Israelis to be secure but for ordinary Gazan people to have hope for a better future.

But he also mentions that the IDF has had to just carry out a major security operation in Judea and Samaria to push back against the Iranian-sponsored effort to turn that territory into a launchpad for terrorism like Gaza and southern Lebanon already are.

Chaim says that the fight continues and in Gaza, many Hamas terrorists are surrendering because they know they’ve lost. Israel must stay the course and victory will come.

In this context, he quotes Isaiah 11:11-19: It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, rrom Assyria and Egypt, from Pathros and Cush, from Elam and Shinar, from Hamath and the islands of the sea.

He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; and the people of Ammon shall obey them.

The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; with His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River, and strike it in the seven streams, and make men cross over dry-shod.

There will be a highway for the remnant of His people who will be left from Assyria, as it was for Israel in the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.

(Day 480) Swords of Iron – “A new Season is Here”

Chaim starts the video by acknowledging that some IDF reserve soldiers are getting tired, ready for this war to be over so they can take off their uniforms and go back to their civilian lives. He talks about some of the different environments that IDF soldiers are being deployed, from the tropical beaches of Gaza to the frozen, snow capped Golan Heights. He also acknowledges that there is not always equipment needed for these different environments, and he says that the IDF welcomes any donations of equipment that will help them get the job done safely and effectively.

Day 479 Swords of Iron – “With you through the fire”

Chaim starts by talking about what a roller coaster of emotions Israelis are on, learning small details about the hostages, hearing that some will be released soon but also learning about the conditions Hamas was able to extract in exchange for releasing them.
