 (Day 485) Swords of Iron – “Nukes”

Chaim starts by asking a rhetorical question about what will happen next in Gaza and in general with Israel’s security needs.

He mentions that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to Washington DC to meet with US President Donald Trump, who just signed an executive order to develop a missile defense system to protect the United States homeland. He also wants Arab League countries to take in Palestinian refugees, but these states have all said no to that idea for now.

Chaim also mentions that UNRWA is on the ropes in many ways and he talks about the big worry that everyone has about Iran. Iran’s regime is threatening an all-out war if their nuclear facilities are attacked, but if those facilities are not attacked, a war might happen anyway and Iran would have nuclear weapons.

The IRGC is making threats, showing off its strategic facilities, trying to deter an attack.

Chaim says it’s a very complicated and fraught situation, but he urges his viewers not to be afraid. In this context, he quotes Isaiah 41:10-11; So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.

Next Chaim goes through some of the nuclear facilities that Iran is operating, while they ignore all warnings to step back from the brink of deploying nuclear weapons.

But, again, Chaim turns to the Word of God, quoting Deuteronomy 33:29; Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”

(Day 484) Swords of Iron – “Home sweet Home”

Chaim starts out by saying that the hostage release mechanism that is part of a broader cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is difficult to accept, since it includes the release of so many high-profile terrorists from Israeli prisons. It is also difficult to watch the barbaric conditions under which some of the Israeli hostages are being released.
