Swords of Iron Day 1066: Israel’s Blunt Warning to Iran’s Regime
I know it sounds crazy that anyone has to say this out loud. Yet on Swords of Iron Day 1066 our prime minister felt it was necessary to warn Iran’s leaders directly. Not the Iranian people, who deserve far better than the men ruling them, but the IRGC and the apocalyptic regime behind it.
The message was simple. Do not nuke us. Do not fire ballistic missiles at us. Do not attack us. Your back is against the wall, your currency is collapsing, and your terror network is falling apart. Push Israel and we will reshape this region and finish the mission of stopping terror.
Some people hear that and call it aggressive. I call it telling it like it is. Clarity has kept this country alive more than once.
Congo Is Moving Its Embassy to Jerusalem
Now the good news. The Democratic Republic of Congo says it will move its embassy to Jerusalem, joining a growing list of countries that recognize where our capital actually is.
Every one of these moves matters more than it looks. It is a country deciding that reality outranks pressure, and that friendship with Israel is worth the criticism that follows.
Swords of Iron Day 1066: The Price Israel Is Paying
At the same time, Swords of Iron Day 1066 comes with a hard number. Several hundred doctors have reportedly left the country during these three years of war.
We have immigrants arriving, and thank God for every one of them. Nevertheless, others have gone, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. The struggle is far from over, and a nation at war loses people in ways that never make the evening news.
Swords of Iron Day 1066: The Lie About Medicine in Gaza
We keep hearing the accusation that Israel is blocking medicine from entering Gaza. Hundreds of trucks carrying food, medicine, and supplies have gone in. The American government recently published detailed information on exactly which medicines are entering.
Still the false accusations continue. Notice the pattern here, because it repeats every single week. The evidence is published, the accusation is repeated anyway, and the correction never travels as far as the lie did.
Britain, Propaganda, and the Brain Virus
The American ambassador to Israel has called out the British government’s continued hostility toward this country. In response, Israel has barred certain British government figures from entering Israel.
Here is how I think about it. Propaganda pushed by Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and global jihadist movements works like a brain virus. It spreads by feeling rather than by fact, it rewards outrage, and it makes decent people repeat things they never checked. Therefore the most useful thing any of us can do is refuse to be manipulated by lies.
Travel Warnings Before the Fall Feasts
We are approaching the fall feasts. Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot are almost here, and Israelis traveling abroad are being told to stay alert.
Turkey, the UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt and Sinai, Azerbaijan, Somalia, and other places all require caution right now because of threats aimed specifically at Israelis. Read that list again. These are ordinary holiday destinations, and being Jewish is what turns them into a risk assessment.
Swords of Iron Day 1066: The Pressure on Iran Is Working
Iran remains under serious pressure on Swords of Iron Day 1066. Its currency is collapsing, its oil revenues are being squeezed, and Europe is now joining American sanctions to cut off the financial lifelines that remain.
The regime still has smuggling networks and clever ways to evade sanctions. However, the pressure is working, and you can measure it in the price of bread in Tehran and in the salaries the regime can no longer pay its proxies.
What Happened at the Ed Sheeran Concert
Then there was the concert. At an Ed Sheeran show, Israelis reportedly had to leave after the opening act got on stage and turned the night into a political rally, chanting about Palestine and working the crowd up.
Imagine paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket and then feeling unsafe because of who you are. Imagine that happening within days of the anniversary of September 11. This is what antisemitism looks like when it wears a wristband and calls itself activism.
Holding the Ali Taher Ridge and the Yellow Line
Meanwhile our soldiers keep doing the quiet work. Israel continues to hold the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, along with the yellow line and the buffer zone in Gaza.
None of that makes headlines. All of it is why families in the north and the south can sleep. We hold that ground, with God’s help, because the alternative is watching the enemy rebuild everything we already paid to take apart.
Psalm 46 and Being Still in Wild Times
Psalm 46 says that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and therefore we will not fear. It goes on to describe mountains shaking, seas roaring, and nations raging, and then it says that God makes wars cease.
Then comes the line I keep returning to on Swords of Iron Day 1066. Be still, and know that I am God. The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Notice that the psalm does not promise a quiet world. It describes a loud one and then tells you where to stand inside it. That is the promise I am holding onto in these wild times, and it is why I can report a week like this one without losing hope.
So here is where I land. Israel will keep telling the truth about this war even when the truth is unpopular, even when the loudest voices in the room have already made up their minds. That is not stubbornness. It is the only thing that has ever protected us.
