ARC Israel Updates

Chaim begins by talking about all the reasons that wars are no fun. He then proceeds to list some of the things that make it worthwhile, such as the opportunity to liberate the ordinary people of Gaza from the tyranny of Hamas and give them what they need to live. He says Israel isn’t fighting the people of Gaza, but the Hamas terrorist group which terrorizes both Israel and the Palestinians. The Hezbollah terrorist group which dominates Lebanon and threatens to start another war front with Israel is the same.

He mentions that Israel is in fact bracing itself for the possibility of attacks by Hezbollah, which would likely include massive rocket barrages on every part of the country. He mentions a deal that’s in the works for the release of up to 80 hostages including most of the women and children who were kidnapped on 7 October.

He says that the massacre carried out by Hamas on 7 October has brought terrible suffering to the Palestinian people and he also mentions the unbelievable reactions of many people around the world who are marching in the streets to support Hamas, despite the overwhelming amount of evidence that they’re to blame for everything that’s happening.

Chaim quotes Psalm 143

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness. Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, for in Your sight no one living is righteous.

For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in darkness, like those who have long been dead. Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is distressed.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands.

I spread out my hands to You; my soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah

Answer me speedily, O Lord; my spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, lest I be like those who go down into the pit. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.

Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; In You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. In Your mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I am Your servant.

Chaim declares that “wherever evil arises it will be crushed” and he asks Christians to stand up and be counted in this time of trial. He then asks for his viewers to send a video of them saying “I stand with Israel” to the email of the Aliyah Return Center and the image shifts to a montage of people all over the world singing “Hatikvah” the national anthem of Israel.

(Day 841) Swords of Iron – “Decisive action = Safer Future”

I think of the farms in southern Israel after Hamas attacked on October 7. There was no one to milk the cows. Animals were crying out for food. Everything was burned. People were killed. Bodies were on the floor. It’s hard for people to picture that. We want to help Israel heal.

(Day 840) Swords of Iron – “Now We Pray, and Wait”

The Iranian delegation at the United Nations says they are prepared for the worst-case scenario, though they hope the buildup of American military power will not lead to a direct confrontation. They warn such a clash could cause the entire region to collapse—and they claim Israel wants this. We’re just trying to stop the “head of the octopus” from spreading terror across the Middle East and launching attacks at us.

(Day 839) Swords of Iron – “Master Plan”

Even through the internet blackout in Iran, we see that they’re shooting their own people. IRGC is killing those protesters even though Trump warned them, the United States and Israel has warned, “Do not do that.”

(Day 838) Swords of Iron – “Call A Spade A Spade”

Dismantling terrorist infrastructure isn’t as easy as we can make it look sometimes. Troops from the Kfir Brigade, operating under the command of the Gaza Division, are conducting operations east of the yellow line to dismantle terrorist infrastructure. Alongside them, the Yahalom unit is locating, dismantling, and destroying tunnels. Just recently, a tunnel about a kilometer long was blown up to keep this country safe.
