(Day 609) Swords of Iron – “Rest in Peace”
Chaim starts out by mentioning that several IDF soldiers from his unit, the Yahlom Combat Engineers, have been killed in action recently. Chaim says that despite these losses, the IDF is continuing to put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages, both living and dead, and surrender. Chaim says that the decision by Hamas to continue this war is the only reason it’s continuing, and it would end immediately if they surrender and release the hostages.
(Day 608) Swords of Iron – “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”
Chaim starts out by talking about the endless stream of ballistic missiles that keep getting fired at Israel from the Houthis in Yemen. Chaim says this has got to stop.
(Day 602) Swords of Iron – “Never Underestimate Your Enemy”
Chaim starts by saying that on October 7th, 2023, Hamas was able to surprise Israel with a combination of weapons and tactics that the IDF was not expecting. One of the reasons the Gaza border area was so lightly guarded by the IDF is that all the attention was focused on the northern border, where Hezbollah was assessed to be a much bigger and more dangerous threat.

Chaim starts by saying that Israeli soldiers want victory, nothing less.
(Day 600) Swords of Iron – “Nuclear Bombs”
Chaim starts by simply acknowledging the fact that it has been 600 days since this war started with the Hamas massacre of October 7th, 2023.
(Day 599) Swords of Iron – “Light Vs Darkness”
Chaim starts by saying that it’s been 599 days since Hamas started this war and the IDF is forging ahead with Operation Gideon’s Chariots, searching for the hostages in Gaza while Hamas infrastructure is subsequently destroyed and security is restored.
(Day 596) Swords of Iron – “Trudging on as Shavuot (Pentecost) approaches”
Chaim starts by saying that he’s preparing to attend the funeral of Yaron Lischinsky, 30, and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, 26, two young Israelis diplomats who were murdered in Washington DC by a Pro-Palestinian terrorist last week. Israeli diplomatic missions around the world have increased their security and they are also flying their flags at half mast this week, even as some American officials including US Representative Ilan Omar of Minnesota coldly declined to comment on the attack.
(Day 595) Swords of Iron – “Devastated”
Chaim starts by talking about how difficult Israel’s situation remains, since there are ballistic missiles being fired at Israel by the Houthis in Yemen and ongoing fighting in Gaza and elsewhere.
(Day 594) Swords of Iron – “Brainwash”
Chaim starts out by saying how devastated he is at the news that Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, two staff members at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, were murdered by a pro-Palestinian terrorist in Washington DC on Thursday. Yaron is the son of a well-known tour guide here in Israel, and his family is part of Israel’s Believer community.
(Day 593) Swords of Iron – “Hellbent on Israel’s Destruction”
Chaim starts out by saying that big things are in the offing as China has told all its citizens in Israel to leave the country immediately, as nuclear talks between the US and Iran appear to be breaking down. Israel is determined not to allow Iran to get nuclear weapons and Iran shows no signs of backing down. There is a real chance that full-scale war between Iran and Israel is about to break out.
