ARC Israel Updates

(Day 207) Swords of Iron- History Repeating?”

Chaim starts the video by saying that Passover has ended but anti-Semitism and baseless hatred have not. The protests against Israel at university campuses in the US have gotten very ugly and it’s leading to a dangerous place. Large numbers of Jews in the US are already looking into the possibility of making Aliyah and that trend is likely to continue.

Chaim mentions the passage from teh Passover Hagaddah where we repeat that “in every generation they rose up to destroy us but the Holy One, blessed be He, saves us from their hand”.

He encourages his viewers to be in communication with their elected officials and tell them that we must not allow the history of Nazi Germany to repeat itself in the United States. We must not allow the lies and slander to go unchallenged.

He says that the Jewish people have one homeland and that’s Israel, and that the Aliyah Return Center is here to help Jewish people come home to their homeland. He thanks his viewers for standing with the ARC and with Israel in prayer and in practical support.

He says that he always takes visiting groups to the Friends of Zion museum where they can learn about heros of the faith who stood for truth and righteousness and helped build the foundations of the modern State of Israel.

He says that these people give us all an example to follow and, urging his viewers to remember these words, he quotes Psalms 144:1-2, Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle. My lovingkindness and my fortress,my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues [a]my people under me.

He concludes with saying the blessing for day 7 of the Omer count.

Update (Day 950) Swords of Iron “Live and Let Live?”

The north of Israel is so different from Gaza—the plants, the rocks, the landscape. It’s beautiful. And it’s heartbreaking that this beauty is interrupted by air raid sirens due to Hezbollah terrorists breaking the so-called “ceasefire”.

Update (Day 949) Swords of Iron “Secret Mission”

Well, it’s hit the news: a recent secret operation lasting about a week saw Egoz and the Golani Reconnaissance Unit cross the Litani River in Lebanon northward and operate near the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya, about 10 kilometers from Israeli territory.
Wow. These forces are unbelievably brave.
