Day 212 Swords of Iron – Holocaust Memorial Day

Chaim starts the video by saying that we’re living in a time defined by emotional ups and downs. He cites the tensions over unanswered questions like whether or not, and if so when, the IDF will be going into Rafah. He also talks about the bizarre situation on many college campuses where students are expressing support for terrorism, comparing it to the pro-Nazi student movements on some British college campuses in the 1930s.

He then declares that the Aliyah Return Center the Holocaust Remembrance Day is a very solemn occasion. He says that over the years, several Holocaust survivors have been helped in their Aliyah journey.

But he says that the nation of Israel is going through a roller coaster, and he quotes Amos 9:9 For surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve; yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground.”

He says that this difficult season the Jewish people are going through right now is causing many to ask questions and seek the truth.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, Chaim says he is especially honored to be able to help so many Holocaust survivors and others who are in need, fleeing persecution around the world and also facing war and hardship here in Israel.

He then invites his viewers to watch a video that he made of a “March of the Living” event that he participated in a few years ago involving German Christians who were the children and grandchildren of men and women who had been in Nazi units which took part in atrocities during WWII. This event was part of the reconciliation process and was healing for many people.

Chaim concludes by counting the 12th day of the Omer.

(Day 742) Swords of Iron – “What these words mean”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s a good thing that Israel is winning on the kinetic battlefields, on the media battlefield, it’s a different story. The Western world, in general, is in very bad shape and as an example, Chaim points to a recent incident in which a man stood up on a flight to Glasgow, Scotland, and shouted threats to destroy the plane and said it was because of “Trump” and other things like this.

(Day 741) Swords of Iron – “Something is brewing”

Chaim starts by saying that the kinetic battle in Gaza might be over for now, but these are still difficult times. The Israelis feel like they’re worn down to the bone marrow and in Lebanon, Hezbollah seems to be gearing up for another round of fighting. The IDF is striking them pre-emptively to try and disrupt these plans and having a great deal of success, but Iran is relentlessly moving weapons, terrorists and money into Lebanon so that Hezbollah can continue with it’s plans. It’s a race to see how long Israel can continue destroying Hezbollah and how long Iran will continue trying to prop it up.

(Day 740) Swords of Iron – “Fragile Ceasefire”

Chaim starts by saying that things are not “all roses” as the security situation in Gaza is rapidly deteriorating and there are also problems on other fronts. But in Gaza, Hamas has been rounding up its opponents and brutally executing them in public. There are videos of this all over the internet and even the US military is warning Hamas to knock it off.

(Day 739) Swords of Iron – “Will they uphold the agreement?

Chaim starts out by saying he’s out of uniform today. It is Simchat Torah, the day that Jewish people come to the end of the yearlong cycle of Torah reading and roll it back to the beginning. It’s also the day two years ago when Hamas launched its massacre of Israelis and also took 251 Israelis captive back into Gaza.
