Day 256 Swords of Iron – Honoring IDF Valiant ones

Chaim starts the video by telling his viewers that he is on a short break from the battle in Gaza, along with his wife Deanna in Tel Aviv to attend an event honoring the Ya’alom Combat Engineering unit he’s part of.

Chaim says it’s a great honor for him to be part of this elite combat unit, whose name “Ya’Alom” translates as “diamond” in English. He says that this unit is always sent where the danger is greatest, including terror tunnels, booby-trapped buildings and minefields. They’re trained to both set and disarm explosives, demolish tunnels and other enemy positions, and clear areas of improvised explosive devices and mines so that regular troops can operate in these areas safely.

They’re also trained to handle threats from biological, chemical and even nuclear and radiological weapons.

Chaim speaks about participating in Operation Protective Edge in 2014 and all the tunnels his unit demolished in that battle. There were many more, and the current battle has gone on much longer and been more difficult and deadly than any of the previous battles, but the IDF will continue this fight until safety and security is returned to the Land of Israel.

(Day 761) Swords of Iron – “Lebanon, cast terror out!”

Chaim starts by saying that he was in Lebanon recently and the jihadists of Hezbollah have not learned their lesson. They’re continuing to rearm, reorganize and prepare to take another shot at Israel, despite the pounding they received in the campaign a year ago this month. The Lebanese National Army is also not doing what it’s supposed to do in disarming Hezbollah. So the IDF now has to go back into Lebanon in a big way and take care of business.

(Day 760) Swords of Iron – ”Inevitable”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s kind of satisfying to see the inevitable destruction of the tunnels and other terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and southern Lebanon. Chaim says that the wicked might prosper for a season, but the righteous always prevail in the end.

(Day 759) Swords of Iron – “Iraq Next?“

Chaim starts by saying things are not really calming down right now, despite the “ceasefire” in Gaza. There are reports that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps is arming and training the Badr Brigades and other Shi’ite militias in Iraq for a move against Israel in the future, and they’re also continuing to arm and fund Hezbollah in Lebanon, although not with the same level of support they’re giving to the Iraqi militias.
