Day 282 Swords of Iron – “Assassination Attempt”
Chaim starts the video by saying that he believes there are forces in this world to try and take away all law and order and plunge the world into deep darkness and anarchy. He cites the attempt that was made on Saturday to assassinate former US President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He mentions that current President Joe Biden immediately issued a statement condemning the attempted assassination, and Chaim says this was exactly the right thing to do. He adds that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also condemned the attack.
He says that when terror attacks happen, it is important to condemn and stand against it, and that’s what the IDF is doing in the Gaza Strip.
Chaim says that this is a very troubling and unstable time in human history, but we know the bad guys won’t win. Chaim points out that earlier on Saturday, Israel successfully carried out an air strike that killed some of the senior leaders of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Chaim says that should be a warning to all the other evil terrorists in the world that their time is coming. But the assassination attempt on President Trump should also be a wake up call to everyone in the free world that the time to wake up has come. The time to stand against evil and not be passive, timid or even silent, has come.
Chaim quotes Winston Churchill as saying that free men must “NEVER give up” and Chaim adds that to do that, it is necessary to put on the full armor of God mentioned in Ephesians 6:10-20; Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
He says that if one is not thus prepared to face what’s coming, one will be swept along in a great tide of apocalyptic anarchy. He says that this will not happen to him and those he is responsible for. He tells the soldiers he is commanding that they will not be overwhelmed, but they will prevail and be victorious.
He also mentions that Israeli civilians have visited the soldiers on the front lines to offer care and support. He says that it is through the combined efforts of all the People of Israel and under the guidance and protection of God that the victory will be won. In this context he quotes Psalms 60:12; Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
He concludes by asking his viewers to do their part to preserve Judeo-Christian Biblical values and stand strong in the face of all the attacks against those values.
