ARC Mini Blog for Day 284 Swords of Iron – Salaam Gaza Peace Initiative

Chaim starts the video by informing his viewers that “Salaam” means “Peace” in Arabic, and he says that he has an idea that he wants to share with his viewers and get their feedback.

He calls it the “Salaam Beach Peace Initiative” and it s based on the prophecy of Isaiah chapter 19, which says that there will be a highway connecting Egypt and Assyria, which will run through Israel. This would only be possible if these nations were at peace with each other, and all the obstacles to peace were removed.

Chaim invites his viewers to share the idea of inviting investors from all over the world to build the infrastructure for such a highway. He’s talking about resorts on beaches like the marvelous beach in Rafah where he’s filming this video.

Each investor would be free to build the hotel, spa, resort or whatever with the themes from their own country (he cites as an example “Little Italy” in New York City.)

Chaim acknowledges that such an initiative would also need to be patrolled by military and police forces from participating countries to guard against criminals and terrorists who might try to disrupt it. As if to pound home that point, he suddenly gets a warning over the radio that there is a suspected Hamas sniper in the vicinity, so he sits down to avoid giving the possible sniper an easy target.

But he says that he envisions this idea to be a continuation of the Abraham Accords, and as such, he thinks the man to lead this initiative would be Muhamad Bin Zalman, the leader of the United Arab Emirates.
