Day 389 Swords of Iron – “Victory On The Horizon?”

Chaim starts the video by praising Israel’s strike on Iran, saying it restored some deterrence, but there’s a question mark about whether the Iranian’s actually got the message. There’s a similar question hanging over the issue of Hezbollah, whether or not they understand how badly they’re losing this war and whether they will be ready to quit any time soon.

Chaim says Israel might have to set up a “de-militarized zone” in southern Lebanon, but that remains to be seen.

Back to Iran, the leadership of the regime is saying time and again that they don’t want a big war with Israel but they keep doing provocative things which Israel will have to respond to.

Chaim also mentions the ongoing operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

But again, he talks about the rapid progress which is being made against Hezbollah and the vast quantities of weapons and ammunition that is being captured and destroyed. He also mentions the “Iron Beam” laser defense system which will soon be deployed to defend Israel against incoming rockets, alongside the Iron Dome.

But all of this comes at a cost, and Chaim mentions the 60 soldiers who have been killed in action in just one month of ground operations in Lebanon, bringing the total in the war to 800.

Chaim asks his viewers to pray for the families of those who have been killed or wounded in action and if they can do more, then do more.

In this context, he quotes Psalms 143:12; In Your mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul; for I am Your servant.

He also quotes Deuteronomy 33:29; Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, And you shall tread down their high places.”

He concludes by asking his viewers to stay strong and be reassured that the IDF is not going to stop until the threat of rockets on Israel’s home front has been permanently removed.

The last minute of the video is a news clip about the anniversary of the Hezbollah attack on the US Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
