Day 390 Swords of Iron – “Isaiah 40 Comfort my people”

Chaim starts the video by mentioning that 12,000 Israelis have been wounded since this war began, most of them soldiers but also some civlians who were wounded in terrorist attacks or rocket attacks. He then adds that these are very difficult times in Israel for this and many other reasons, including the large number of PTSD cases among returning soldiers and even many civilians.

Chaim says that in these circumstance, there is a verse that is highly relevent; Isaiah 40:1; “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God”

However, he says that great progress is also being made and this war won’t last forever. He mentions a vote in the Knesset to ban UNRWA from operating in Israel, and limiting its access to Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip. This is because of the direct involvement of UNRWA employees in the atrocities of October 7th, 2023.

Chaim says that he’s been waking up to head bad news almost every day for over a year, and he says its very important to stand with soldiers who have been fighting in this war for freedom and we also need to especially remember to stand with and support the families of soldiers who have been killed or wounded in action.

He mentions that Iran has found a replacement for Hassan Nasrallah to lead Hezbollah, and this new leader is vowing to continue the battle against Israel, but Chaim has no doubt Hezbollah will be defeated.

In this context, he quotes Psalms 138:7; Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

Chaim says he’s standing on this promise, and he thanks his viewers for standing with him.

The video concludes with scenes from a picnic that the Aliyah Return Center was able to give some IDF soldiers because the viewers support the ARC.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
