Day 399 Swords of Iron – “Another Pogrom in Europe?”

Chaim starts out by saying how sad it is to see that in Amsterdam, the authorities had ample warning that there was an anti-Semitic pogrom brewing and they didn’t take decisive action to stop it. Chaim says that this is just the latest and strongest hint we’ve gotten about the massive increase in anti-Semitic feelings and attitudes all over the world. This is bringing us to a place where all God-fearing people must stand strong together, because Hamas and Hezbollah don’t just exist as terrorist groups in Gaza and Lebanon. They also exist as a set of ideas and attitudes which are increasingly popular in many countries around the world.

He also talks about the ongoing IDF operations to demolish Hezbollah terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon and in this context he thanks his viewers for helping him buy a thermal drone that will help these troops do their job more safely.

He mentions that he saw an appreciation for the love that this contribution represented in the eyes of the commander of the unit he was able to donate the drone to.

In this context, he quotes Psalms 146:5; Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
