Day 445 Swords of Iron – “Searching For Hostages”

Chaim starts the video by wishing his viewers “Happy Hanukkah from the Gaza Strip.”

He then mentions that the Palestinian Authority has begun a large-scale security operation against Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations in the cities of Judea and Samaria. This is a positive development, but the war continues.

Chaim mentions the Houthi ballistic missile attacks on Israel which seem to be coming more consistently and more often in the last few days. Millions of people in central Israel keep having to run for the bomb shelters in the middle of the night, although the interceptors have destroyed most of the incoming missiles outside Israel’s air space. Still, there is a danger from falling debris and shrapnel.

There are also continuing to be casualties in this war, as Chaim memorializes some soldiers who were killed in action this week in Gaza.

Next Chaim mentions the increasing aggression of the Houthis, including their publication of a picture of the Dimona nuclear power plant which they say they’d like to destroy. Iran is saying that the Houthis are independent actors, doing these things on their own, building their own missiles and other weapons. But this is absurd, as the Iranians are clearly arming and equipping them, as well as giving them direct assistance in targetting merchant ships on the high seas.

Chaim says that the IDF is going to start targeting Houthi leaders for assassination, just as it previously targeted Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.

In this context, he quotes Isaiah 61:1-3; The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

(Day 761) Swords of Iron – “Lebanon, cast terror out!”

Chaim starts by saying that he was in Lebanon recently and the jihadists of Hezbollah have not learned their lesson. They’re continuing to rearm, reorganize and prepare to take another shot at Israel, despite the pounding they received in the campaign a year ago this month. The Lebanese National Army is also not doing what it’s supposed to do in disarming Hezbollah. So the IDF now has to go back into Lebanon in a big way and take care of business.

(Day 760) Swords of Iron – ”Inevitable”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s kind of satisfying to see the inevitable destruction of the tunnels and other terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and southern Lebanon. Chaim says that the wicked might prosper for a season, but the righteous always prevail in the end.

(Day 759) Swords of Iron – “Iraq Next?“

Chaim starts by saying things are not really calming down right now, despite the “ceasefire” in Gaza. There are reports that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps is arming and training the Badr Brigades and other Shi’ite militias in Iraq for a move against Israel in the future, and they’re also continuing to arm and fund Hezbollah in Lebanon, although not with the same level of support they’re giving to the Iraqi militias.
