Day 464 Swords of Iron – “Eternal people are not afraid of the long journey”

Chaim starts by telling his viewers that he’s recording the video in southern Israel and tells them what the poster behind him, written in Hebrew, means in English, that “Eternal people are not afraid of the long journey”

Chaim acknowledges that it HAS been a long journey and as an example he cites the US House of Representatives passing a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court for its outrageous actions against Israeli officials.

Chaim also mentions the ongoing negotiations for a hostage release deal and he says that one of the proposed conditions is an IDF withdrawal from the Philidelphi Corridor, which Chai thinks is a bad idea. But this hasn’t been finalized yet, so there’s still a chance it won’t be part of the final arrangement.

Chaim also mentions the Iranians, who have for the first time ever revealed their underground missile production facilities. They probably did this as a way of trying to intimidate Israel, but really all they’ve done is show Israel what we need to destroy next. Because we will not let them continue to threaten us.

Getting back to the hostage deal negotiations, Chaim warns that the terrorists are making outrageous demands for the release of large numbers of terrorists from Israeli prisons, including murderers with blood on their hands. Chaim says the clock is ticking and the IDF must find and rescue the hostages before Hamas can use them to trade for their terrorist comrades.

He also mentions the situation in Lebanon, where the Lebanese National Army has been tasked with taking over positions vacated by the IDF so that Hezbollah does not go back in and take over those positions. Chaim says he hopes they do a good job so that the IDF doesn’t have to keep going back into Lebanon to keep Hezbollah away from the border.

Next he mentions the Houthis in Yemen, who he says are beginning to understand the consequences of their attacks against Israel.

He also mentions the IDF soldiers who have fallen in battle in recent days.

All if this adds up to a long journey, and Chaim thanks his viewers for joining him in this journey, sharing the videos and praying for him and all the other soldiers in the IDF.

(Day 769) Swords of Iron – “Shift in Progress”

Chaim starts by saying he expects things to shift for the better in the Middle East. He expects the hearts and minds of people in Gaza to shift, as there are only three hostages remaining in the Strip and because of coordination between Israel and the US and others, over 800 trucks full of humanitarian aid are going into the Strip every day.

(Day 768) Swords of Iron – “Culmination, as we dismantle terror Infrastructure”

Chaim starts by pointing out that Veterans Day was just marked in the U.S. and he wonders aloud if people really understand what soldiers do and what they sacrifice and endure on battlefields. He then begins to list some of the work the IDF is doing in the current days, including after the ceasefire, finding and demolishing tunnels packed full of weapons and ammunition that Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon intended to use against Israel.

(Day 766) Swords of Iron – “Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, laid to rest with our ancestors”

Chaim starts by letting his viewers know he’s filming from the funeral of Har Goldin, whose remains were returned to Israel for a proper burial this past week 11 years after his dead body was kidnapped into a Hamas tunnel during Operation Protective Edge in 2014. Chaim gives a short history lesson about that operation, and subsequent operations that all led up to the Swords of Iron War, which still isn’t over despite the ceasefire. He also talks about the efforts by Goldin’s parents and others to secure the release of his remains so he could receive a proper burial. Chaim says he himself was part of that effort, which included talks with senior officials in Egypt and many other countries and organizations including the Red Cross, various UN agencies, etc.
