ARC Israel Updates

Chaim begins with a description of the IDF entering Gaza with heavy machinery and his own work checking houses and bodies which were targeted by Hamas for booby traps and other hazards. He mentions that he hasn’t seen his wife and children in almost a month, and acknowledges that he’s tired, like so many others.

He says that when he’s on a mission he sometimes puts earbuds in and listens to praise and worship music to lift his mood amidst all the devastation he’s seeing. The “sheep” of the House of Israel are afraid, but he’s one of the shepherds with a rod and staff meant to comfort them.

He references the story of David and his men restoring the hostages that were taken by their enemies in 1 Samuel Chapter 30, and he also references the song of praise from Psalm 27:1-7;

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

He concludes by encouraging his viewers to “take the Lord strategy” forward and follow it to victory, just as David did when he recovered the hostages and defeated the enemies who had come against him at Ziklag.

(Day 779) Swords of Iron – “Things Are Heating Up”

Chaim starts by saying that he is usually a pretty optimistic person but even he is having a hard time believing that Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen and Iran’s IRGC are just going to give up on their goal of destroying Israel because they failed so miserably over the last two years. Hamas in particular has used the breathing room they got over the last few weeks of “ceasefire” to rearm and regroup and are now back to probing the Yellow Line and otherwise seeing what they can get away with.

(Day 777) Swords of Iron – “Next Generation”

Chaim starts by saying that he’s home with his family for the weekend and he’ll be heading back to the war the next day. But he’s thinking about the information war, the battle for hearts and minds. He’s thinking about how Qatar has spent billions of dollars to try and influence the next generation, how Charile Kirk tried to push back against the anti-Israel narratives, and Chaim realizes that although he’s made videos every single day for 777 days, he really isn’t reaching the Gen Z and Gen Alpha generations very well. So he says in this video he’s going to try and speak to them in their own language as best he can.

(Day 776) Swords of Iron – “Tunnels, and the trail to triumph”

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem and he’s standing in front of a poster with the hostages’ faces on it. There are still remains of three hostages who were murdered in captivity which have not yet been returned to Israel for burial, but Chaim says he had almost lost hope that there would be as many hostages returned, both living and dead, as there have been.
