ARC Israel Updates

Chaim begins with a quick recap of the events of the previous 24 hours and the fears that Hezbollah will open up a second front in the North. He adds that Hamas and it’s Iranian masters are pushing towards a global Islamist caliphate like what ISIS was pushing for. The angle they’re pushing forward on is slightly different than what ISIS was doing, but the goal is the same.

He then says he’s been asked what a “proportionate” response to the Hamas attacks against Israel and he responds by saying that it’s the wrong question to be asking. What’s needed is not a “proportionate response” but rather the problem needs to be resolved. The threat needs to be removed. The evil force needs to be defeated and destroyed.

He then tells his viewers that they are part of the forces working to remove the threat and they can do that by speaking truth, which means speaking the Scriptures. It means speaking up in public and it also means speaking up in prayer.

He then shows some of the body armor that he and his comrades are wearing to protect themselves from the kinetic weapons that their enemies are using to try and hurt them. He compares this to the “full armor of God” and the “sword of the spirit” which is the Bible.

He is referring to Ephesians 6:10-18,

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

He then talks about what an encouragement it is for him and his comrades that there are still people making Aliyah to Israel, even amidst the conflict. He also directs a question to the enemies of Israel saying “when you meet the God of Israel, very soon, how do you think He’s going to feel about the way you’ve been treating His anointed ones”?

He quotes Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that He would lie” and compares that with Hamas lying about Israel being responsible for a strike on a hospital that was actually caused by a misfired Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket.

He also quotes Genesis 12:3; And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Another promise of the Lord he quotes is from Deuteronomy 33:29; Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

He concludes by asking his viewers to share the video.

(Day 812) Swords of Iron – “Upbringing”

Chaim starts by saying that Shabbat is over and it’s cold, wet and rainy where he’s filming from, but he’s glad to be alive. He says there is one more hostage in Gaza, but it’s a miracle that so many, living and dead, have been returned to Israel, and he gives thanks to God and people like US President Donald Trump who still believe in freedom and decency.

(Day 811) Swords of Iron – “T*rror in Galilee”

Chaim starts by addressing the common saying in Israel “Am Israel Chai” which translates as “the People of Israel live” and he says it seems odd to mention that, since all people live while they’re alive. But what makes it profound to say about the people of Israel is that there are many forces in the world who want to make it not be true and these forces are investing a lot of time, money, effort and resources to try and make it not be true.

(Day 810) Swords of Iron – “Light of the World”

Chaim starts by saying that during this holiday season of light and joy, people should hug their families and appreciate them. He says that here in Israel, we appreciate the friends and supporters from around the world who are praying for us and supporting us and sustaining us.
