Are You Making Aliyah?

ARC Israel Updates

Chaim says it looks like there is a turning point in the war, with many Hamas terrorists surrendering and a marked decrease in the number of rockets being fired into Israel from Gaza. But this has come at a price as dozens of IDF troops have been killed in action while hundreds more have been wounded, many seriously.

He asks his viewers to put a comment in the comments section about anything they’ve done in their lives which was physically dangerous, but worthwhile. He says that this is what every single IDF soldier is doing while they’re in Gaza.

Chaim mentions the names of several Hamas leaders and says that the military commander, Yahya Sinwar, whose name sounds like the Hebrew word meaning a “blinding light.”

Chaim says that, sadly, many people around the world are being blinded by the light of lies that Hamas and its supporters are spreading. He also mentions the increasing tensions on Israel’s northern border and the increasingly bellicose threats from the Iranian-backed Houthi rebel groups in Yemen.

He says that we have no choice but to stand up for the truth amidst all these lies and he applauds public figures who are doing so, including former President Donald Trump and TV personality Dr. Phil.

He laments the fact that so many people don’t want to believe the truth, even if you prove it to them they will simply deny it.

He then switches focus to thanking his viewers for donating the money that makes it possible for the Aliyah Return Center to donate body armor to soldiers and take care of families who have had to flee the border regions which have become conflict zones.

Chaim continues by quoting Zechariah 4:1-7; Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. And he said to me, “What do you see?” So I said, “I am looking, and there is a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.” So I answered and spoke to the angel who talked with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”

Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” So he answered and said to me: ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”

Chaim then paraphrases this passage by rhetorically asking “who are YOU Hamas” that you think you can change the plans and purposes of God for the Land and People of Israel?

He concludes by saying it’s a great time to shine a light of the truth in this world, adding on a hopeful note that he thinks this war will be over soon.
