ARC Israel Updates

February 3rd 2024 – Day 119

Chaim starts out the video by inviting his viewers to post in the comments section answering the question of what they think should happen in the Gaza Strip following the current war against Hamas.

He mentions that the US and some other Western countries are considering the idea of recognizing a Palestinian state as part of negotiations to end the war. He says that meanwhile, the IDF is crushing terrorists in the Gaza Strip, even as fighting with Hezbollah intensifies on the northern border.

He says that Israel has tried to trade “land for peace” and it’s just led to more wars, which Chaim and his friends have had to fight in again and again. He rhetorically asks if the Palestinians have another opportunity for a sovereign state, will it be a state that Israel has to constantly monitor and periodically fight, like it’s had to do with the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip for most of the past 20 years.

On top of that, as Chaim says, the Hamas charter says absolutely nothing about even WANTING a Palestinian State. They only want to massacre all the Jews.

But Chaim says despite all this, he’s confident because of the promises in the Scriptures. He quotes Zephaniah 3:17;The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

He concludes by saying that one idea put forward is to have the Palestinian Authority contribute towards the stabilization of the Strip, and maybe even take over the civil administration there similar to what they already do in several cities in Judea and Samaria. But first, there would have to be a “reset” in regards to the people in charge of the PA, and needless to say, Hamas could have no part in the governing structure whatsoever.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
