ARC Israel Updates

Day 155

Chaim starts out by talking about the IDF operation in the Chamad neighborhood of Khan Yunis which resulted in the capture of 250 terrorists from Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organizations. Some of them were involved in the attacks of October 7th, 2023, and Chaim says that evil people all over the world should look at this example of what happens to evil people in the end. No one ever gets away with anything.

Next he mentions President Lula of Brazil, who publicly compared Israel’s defensive war against Hamas to the Nazi Holocaust. Chaim says this is quite startling given Brazil’s participation in WWII on the side of the allies, fighting against the Nazis, as well as it’s fairly moderate approach to the Middle East conflict over the decades.

Chaim goes on to explain that the very name “Brazil” is connected to the Bible, as the Portuguese founders of the country were staunch Roman Catholics who brought the Biblical culture with them to the Americas. Chaim says that with this Biblical heritage, and the links between the history of Brazil, it’s connections to the Spanish Inquisition and it’s modern history of moderation in the Middle East, which is now giving way to something much more extreme against Israel, makes him think that there is some force trying to rob the country of its prophetic destiny. Chaim says “no” to this force, declaring that evildoers will be destroyed and citing Exodus 23:27;  “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

Chaim says Brazil can choose the blessings that come from supporting Israel or the curses which come from turning against her. He advises them to “choose wisely.”

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
