Day 251 Swords of Iron – Wrath on Tyre

Chaim starts by rhetorically welcoming his viewers to the Middle East and the conflict, adding that he’s an IDF soldier and he’s very angry that the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon has fired large numbers of rockets and missiles at his home in the Galilee. He says that his own wife and children are endangered by this, which makes it very personal.

He then asks his viewers a rhetorical question about why there is so little media coverage of this and what little there is usually echoes the Hezbollah claim that they’re only firing at Israeli military targets. He asks his viewers to consider why the governments of the free world are not taking stronger measures against the sources of these attacks, not just Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza but the Houthis in Yemen and all the other Iranian-backed militias in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. He acknowledges that the US has put sanctions on some of these organizations and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) which sponsors them, but many other governments are not even bothering to do that.

Chaim mentions the massive wildfires that have broken out all over northern Israel as a result of these rockets. Even sometimes when a rocket gets intercepted the burning fragments can fall to the ground and start a fire which can burn far beyond the point where it started.

Chaim says that he and all Israelis love the people of Lebanon, Egypt, Iran and the other surrounding countries, but there comes a point when this kind of assault on Israel can no longer be tolerated. He says that something is going to have to shift and he might have to go back into Lebanon once again to be part of the effort to push Hezbollah back away from the border and put an end to these intensifying rocket attacks.

He also says that we’re still basking in the joy of seeing four hostages rescued from Gaza but we’re also mourning the loss of IDF soldiers who were killed in Rafah this past few days, as well as the large and growing number of wounded soldiers.

He says that now is the time for free people to stand up and speak out, because there’s not much time left and our civilization is in very real danger of collapse. The forces of barbarism are on the march and they’re not slowing down. He says that now is an important time to read the Bible and to live in righteousness, speak out for righteousness and pray intensely for the situation.

He quotes Psalms 44:4-5; You are my King, O God; command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.

He also quotes Psalms 60:11-12; Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.

The scene then shifts and Chaim rhetorically asks those who are protesting against Israel “where were you” when hundreds of thousands of people were killed in Syria, Yemen, and other conflicts around the world, in recent years. He asks them if they only protest when Israel and Jews are involved. He says if that’s how it is so be it, but Israel will continue to stand because God is with us, even if no one else is.

The video concludes with IDF soldiers thanking the supporters of the Aliyah Return Center for giving generously so that equipment and supplies could be purchased for them.

(Day 480) Swords of Iron – “A new Season is Here”

Chaim starts the video by acknowledging that some IDF reserve soldiers are getting tired, ready for this war to be over so they can take off their uniforms and go back to their civilian lives. He talks about some of the different environments that IDF soldiers are being deployed, from the tropical beaches of Gaza to the frozen, snow capped Golan Heights. He also acknowledges that there is not always equipment needed for these different environments, and he says that the IDF welcomes any donations of equipment that will help them get the job done safely and effectively.

Day 479 Swords of Iron – “With you through the fire”

Chaim starts by talking about what a roller coaster of emotions Israelis are on, learning small details about the hostages, hearing that some will be released soon but also learning about the conditions Hamas was able to extract in exchange for releasing them.
