Day 304 Swords of Iron – “Yemenite”

Chaim starts the video by introducing the topic of the Yemenite culture which has been colonized and subjugated by Islamic culture. Chaim talks about the music, food, traditional dress, poetry, and other distinct characteristics of the Yemenites, all of which has been lost since the original country of Yemen has come under the authority of one particular faction, the Houthis. These tribal groups owe much to Iran, and they have essentially turned the entire country into a satrapy of Iran.

Now all the Yemenites want to do is whatever Iran tells them to do, which is mostly just making war on Israel and the West. Chaim says that it is very wrong what the Houthis and their Iranian masters have done to Yemen, and he asks his viewers to join him in believing that the future of this culturally vibrant country will be different.

The video ends with footage of traditional Yemeni dance and Yemenite Jewish music.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
