Day 303 Swords of Iron – “Nehemiah 4:14”

Chaim starts the video by declaring that these are very tumultuous and difficult times, but they are also times to be brave and trust in God that He will fulfill his promises to watch over and protect Israel.

He mentions that the previous night there was a large barrage of rockets fired by Hezbollah into Israel. Israel struck back hard, and the battle continues.

Chaim says that most of the major airlines have suspended flights to Israel and there are Israelis who were out of the country for different reasons and they are now struggling to find flights to get back. Volunteers who were planning to come and work at the Aliyah Return Center are also having a difficult time getting here.

Everyone is waiting to see what will happen, as the working assumption is that there will be a massive barrage of missiles, UAVs and rockets fired into Israel from Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iranian-sponsored militias in Syria and Iraq as well as Yemen, all firing at once in an effort to overwhelm the Israeli defenses.

At the same time, El Al is continuing to fly in and out of Israel and the IDF has discovered a smuggling tunnel running under the Philidelphia Corridor between Egypt and the Gazan city of Rafah. This massive tunnel was obviously used to smuggle vast quantities of weapons, ammunition and other contraband into the Gaza Strip for use against Israel.

Chaim says there is still work for the IDF to do in Gaza as well as in the North.

In this context, he quotes Psalms 118:10; All nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

He also quotes Nehemiah 4:14; And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
