Day 367 Swords of Iron – “October 7”

Chaim starts the video by reminding his viewers that it is the one-year anniversary of the October 7th massacre by Hamas that started this current war, and he’s been mobilized into the IDF to fight in that war almost from the very beginning. The war is not settling down, on the contrary, it’s heating up, with Iran getting directly involved with a large strike using ballistic missiles and Israel getting ready to hit back hard.

But it’s not just Iran, it’s all the Iranian-sponsored proxy groups in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and even in Judea and Samaria. They’re all coming against Israel at the same time, and Israel is not backing down. There is a real threat that Iran could even increase the tempo of attacks, and people all over the world are being faced with a choice if they’re going to honor the terrorists of October 7th or the victims of October 7th.

Chaim says that the damage done to IAF bases from the Iranian ballistic missile attack reminds him of the IDF bases that were taken over by Hamas on October 7th. They carried out all kinds of horrible atrocities on that day, and Chaim rhetorically asks “what do we learn from this” and then he answers his own question by saying that “when someone tells you they’re going to murder you, take them seriously.

Chaim says that it’s a priviledge to be among those who are standing up to this evil barbarism, and in this context he quotes Jeremiah 1:19; They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.”

He concludes by asking his viewers to join in the chorus of voices saying “we won’t back down” and we won’t be intimidated by terror and barbarism but we’re going to defend the civilized world.

(Day 484) Swords of Iron – “Home sweet Home”

Chaim starts out by saying that the hostage release mechanism that is part of a broader cease-fire deal between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is difficult to accept, since it includes the release of so many high-profile terrorists from Israeli prisons. It is also difficult to watch the barbaric conditions under which some of the Israeli hostages are being released.
