Chaim starts by asking a rhetorical question about whether the West can survive, and as an example of why he’s wondering about that, he points to a recent poll of university students which asked the question of whether Israel or Palestine would make a better ally to the United State. 29% said Israel, 33% said Palestine and 38% were “unsure” which raises serious questions about what these young people are learning at these universities.

Chaim starts by saying Israel is the most misunderstood country in the world. So he says that he wants to tell his viewers 10 things they MUST KNOW about Israel.
(Day 721) Swords of Iron – “Déjà vu”
Chaim says that it’s Shabbat and he was just in Gaza City, getting wet in the first rain of the year because he didn’t have his rain gear ready, just like happened to him when it rained for the first time in the fall of 2024 and also in the fall of 2023. He says that usually it doesn’t start raining in Israel until after Succot, so he was very happy to see this rain now, because we need rain in this country. Another thing we need is more new immigrants, and they are also coming, even during the war.
(Day 720) Swords of Iron – “Disarmed/Dismantled”
Chaim starts by saying its unbelievable that the Houthis in Yemen launch drones that fly thousands of kilometers to hit a civilian shopping center in Eilat. This is a war crime, and the Houthis won’t get away with it. Prime Minister Netanyahu, as he was on his way to New York to address the UNGA meeting, ordered a massive strike on the Houthis.
(Day 719) Swords of Iron – “Communist/Jihadist Revolution”
Chaim starts out by saying that he’s recording the video on his 719th day of being mobalized into his IDF reserve unit, but it’s okay because we’re living in times that demand this level of commitment. People have to make a choice; they can’t stay on the fence. People either stand for the Judeo-Christian values and worldview which have brought unprecedented levels of freedom and prosperity to billions of people, or they stand with the Communist/Jihadist revolution which is trying to overturn and destroy all that. He adds that whatever choice people make, it won’t take long to see the results.
(Day 718) Swords of Iron – “Recognizing Mistake”
Chaim starts by saying that at this time, Jewish people in Israel are blowing the Shofar in a time of war. We are believing for the release of the hostages and for ultimate victory in this war. We also want to bring home the remains of those who have died in captivity, so that they can receive a dignified funeral.
(Day 717) Swords of Iron – “The Shofar’s Ancient Sounds”
Chaim starts by introducing himself to any new viewers who might be watching, and then starts talking about the Feast of Trumpets, and why Jewish people blow the Shofar at this time of the year. He also talks about why he and tens of thousands of other IDF troops are still in Gaza after almost two years of fighting, because the hostages who were kidnapped on October 7th, 2023, are still being held in the Hamas tunnels.
(Day 716) Swords of Iron – “2 State Delusion”
Chaim starts by saying it feels surreal to see Western countries, which have long had friendly and rational relations with Israel, declaring their recognition of a Palestinian State on the first day of the Feast of Trumpets. The hostages are still being held in Gaza and the Iranians are threatening another round of missile attacks, but that doesn’t seem to matter to these Western countries. It also doesn’t seem to matter to them that no Palestinian faction is even ASKING for a State to live alongside Israel in peace at this point. Nor are they interested in building any of the institutions of a state; they all say very openly that all they want to do is destroy Israel and they have some vague plan for building something on the ruins later on.
(Day 715) Swords of Iron – “Trumpets in Jerusalem and the ‘Charlie Effect”
Chaim starts by saying that in Israel, people are processing the assassination of Charlie Kirk as if they’ve lost a member of their own family. He adds that all over the world, people are having a hard time making a distinction between hate speech and speech they hate. There is a growing trend towards approving of censorship and violence.
(Day 714) Swords of Iron – “What would you do?”
Chaim starts by saying that it’s appalling to look up in the sky and see yet another missile that’s being fired at Israel by the Houthis in Yemen. He adds that the day before, he’d just come back from two funerals of IDF soldiers killed in action when the alarm sounded and he and his wife and his children had to take shelter in a protected space.
