Day 237 Swords of Iron – “All Eyes of Rafah””

Chaim starts out the video by introducing the topic of a new phrase that is gaining a lot of traction on social media “all eyes on Rafah.” Chaim says that it’s appropriate for the world to be paying attention to Rafah because it’s a major geostrategic flashpoint, as well as being a hub of terrorism, smuggling, criminality, and violence.

He mentions all the terror tunnels that the IDF has found there, as well as smuggling tunnels running under the border with Egypt. This, he explains, is where Hamas gets all its weapons and ammunition, as well as narcotics that it sells to its own Palestinian population, and many other types of contraband.

Rafah has been the epicenter of all this, and Chaim says that if the world had been paying more attention to these problems earlier, much of what’s happened in the last eight months could have been avoided. If the responsible governments of the world had been giving Israel the support it needed to go into Rafah sooner and choke off these terror tunnels and smuggling tunnels, the war probably would have already been over with Hamas defeated.

Chaim says that when he hears the phrase “all eyes on Rafah” he’s glad to hear about it and he hopes that when people look at Rafah, they’re seeing the same things he’s seeing, including the Israeli hostages who are still being held there, the smuggling of weapons and narcotics, and all the rest of Hamas’ evil activities.

He then asks why no one has any eyes on Iran, which is sponsoring Hamas’ terrorism and supporting anti-Israel activities all over the world, as well as directly threatening other democracies and brutalizing its own people. He also asks why there’s no eyes on Qatar, which is providing a safe haven for Hamas leaders and sponsoring all kinds of malign activities all over the Middle East, as well as sending money to support anti-Israel protests on US university campuses.

So, Chaim says, he thinks the world MUST fix it’s eyes on Rafah, and believe the truth about what they see when they look there.

He next quotes Psalms 68:1-4; Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly. Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, and rejoice before Him.

He concludes by counting the Omer for day 38.

(Day 563) Swords of Iron – “Drive Terror Out”

Chaim starts by saying he remembers the day he got the call to come to his IDF reserve unit because the war was starting and he was needed. He talks about others he knows who did the same, even though many of them were very busy and had a lot going on, they all dropped what they were doing and ran to join their units. They all thought it would be a short war like so many others before it, but this war has lasted over a year and a half and there’s no end in sight.

(Day 562) Swords of Iron – “Fell in the line of duty”

Chaim starts by saying it’s always tragic when the IDF suffers casualties, and he honors Warrant Officer G’haleb Sliman Alnasasra, 35, of Rahat, who was killed in action over the weekend. Several other soldiers were wounded in the attack, which occurred in an area that was believed to have been cleared of hostile actors, but Hamas had a tunnel that had not been demolished yet and some Hamas guys popped up out of that tunnel and fired an RPG at an IDF vehicle and then later as a rescue vehicle was headed towards the scene Hamas detonated an IED and inflicted more casualties.

(Day 561) Swords of Iron – “Name a Hero of yours”

Chaim starts the video by asking his viewers to leave a comment talking about who their heroes are. He then tells the story of one of his personal heroes, Fredreich Bonhoofer, who was a pastor in Germany who publicly stood against the Nazi regime and was also involved in the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in July 1944. His great legacy is that although he was a pacifist, he said that to not take action in the face of evil, and to not speak out in the face of evil, was to support evil and to become evil.
