Day 268 Swords of Iron – Soar on wings of eagles!

Chaim starts out by saying that if there’s ever been a time to be on full alert to what’s going on in Israel and the wider world, and where we’re at on God’s prophetic timeline, it’s right now.

He gives some details about the attacks Hezbollah has been launching into northern Israel, including using some of their higher-quality guided missiles to hit high-value targets. Israel is making preparations for the difficult task ahead, hoping for peace but preparing for the worst.

Chaim talks about a new experience he had of flying a small bush plane over Israel, along with his commander who was also in the aircraft with him. He said it was a spiritual experience for him, soaring with the eagles and seeing the Land of Israel from above.

It reminded him of God’s promises that He will watch over and protect Israel, but we have an obligation to do our part by constantly checking the instruments, including our own hearts, as well as the promises of God in the Scriptures, to make sure we’re in the right alignment.

He quotes Isaiah 40:31; But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
