Day 470 Swords of Iron – “Victim Mentality”

Chaim starts out the video talking about how there are celebrations going on all over the Gaza Strip, claiming that this cease-fire deal represents some kind of “victory” for them over Israel.

He then talks about the danger of terrorists who are about to be released as part of this deal, and says that Israel must be very vigilant going forward.

He then introduces the topic of the “victim mentality” that is so common among the Palestinians and those who support them.

He goes through many of the massacres and tragedies that the Jewish people have suffered throughout their history and he says that despite all this, the Jews did not adopt a victim mentality. In contrast, the Palestinians definitely have this mentality and it cripples them.

This war was started by the actions of Hamas and it’s continued so long because of their stubbornness, but they’ve managed to convince a large percentage of the world’s population that they’re the victims and Israel is the aggressor. Chaim says the Western world must wake up and stop believing thesse false narratives, for their own sake.

In this context, he quotes Exodus 15:2-3; The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.

Chaim also quotes Zechariah 9:5; Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; And Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
